Xiaomi announces Mi Note 3 with Dual Camera, SD 660 SoC

Along with Mi Mix 2 and Mi Notebook Pro Xiaomi has announced Mi Note 3. Mi Note 3 comes with Snapdragon 660 SoC and sits slightly above the Mi A1. Although it has enough storage and RAM – 6GB RAM with 64GB/128GB onboard storage.

Mi Note 3 Specifications

Xiaomi Mi Mote 3 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 550 nits brightness and 401 ppi pixel density. The device is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 chipset with Adreno 512 GPU and 6GB of RAM. Out of the box, the device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with MIUI 9 on the top.

Mi Note 3 features dual camera setup at the back which is similar to Mi 6 and Mi 5X. The dual camera setup comes with 12MP+12MP snappers with 4-axis OIS. One 12MP unit is a regular lens with f/1.8 aperture while the other one is a 2x telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture. The rear cameras offer portrait mode and 2x optical zoom. The front-facing camera is a 16MP snapper.

The handset sports Stereo speakers, Fingerprint sensor on the Home button, and also Infrared sensor. To keep the lights on, it has a 3,500mAh battery under the hood with Quick Charge 3.0.

Mi Note 3 Pricing

The 6GB+64GB variant of Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is priced at 2499 yuan ($383) while the 6GB+128GB variant costs 2899 yuan ($445). The device comes in Black and Blue colors. The Blue variant with 128GB storage costs 2999 yuan ($460).
