As expected, Xiaomi has finally announced the successor of Mi Mix, the Mi Mix 2. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 comes with a 5.99-inch Full screen Display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The bezels are now 12% thinner than Mi Mix. The ultrasonic proximity sensor and speakers are now hidden in Mi Mix 2.
Mi Mix 2 Specifications
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 features Snapdragon 835 SoC with 6GB/8GB RAM. The 6GB RAM variant comes in three storage variants: 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB. There also a Special Edition of Mi Mix 2 which comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Special Edition has a unibody ceramic body.
Mi Mix 2 sports a 5.99-inch FullHD+ Display (2160x1080p) with curved front glass on all sides. The rear camera is a 12MP Sony IMX386 snapper which is pretty similar to Xiaomi Mi 6‘s rear camera. The primary camera features 4-axis optical image stabilization and 1.25µm large pixels. On The front, the device has a 5MP snapper to take the selfies.
Under the hood, the device has a 3,400mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support for fast charging. Out of the box, Mi Mix 2 runs on Android 7 Nougat with MIUI 9 on the top.
Mi Mix 2 Pricing
The 6GB+64GB variant of Mi Mix 2 is priced at 3,299 Yuan ($506), 6GB+128GB is priced at 3,599 ($552) while the 6GB+256GB costs 3,999 ($614). The Special Editon of Mi Mix 2 with ceramic body costs 4699 Yuan ($721). The standard variant comes in Black color while the Special Editon comes in Black and White colors.
