Xiaomi-backed Huami Amazfit Smartwatch announced for 799 Yuan in China


Xiaomi‘s sub-brand Huami today announced Amazfit smartwatch in China. The smartwatch comes with 1.34-inch circular Display with 320 X 320 pixels. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Let’s check out other specs.

The Amazfit smartwatch is powered by 512MB RAM along with 4GB onboard storage. It is world’s first smartwatch to integrate 28nm GPS sensor. The 22mm wristband is replaceable and also comes with IP67 Water and Dust Resistance. The heart rate sensor is placed at the back which measures heart rate in realtime, unlike Xiaomi Mi Bands.

The smartwatch packs with 280mAh battery which can run up to 35 hours while GPS mode is turned on and up to 5days just for normal use. It can last up to 11.6 days if you use it to track steps and time only.

The Huami Amazfit smartwatch is priced at 799 yuan ($120 / Rs.8050) and comes in black color with black and red bands.
