Back in March, SHARP launched the AQUOS S3 smartphone in Taiwan. And now, the Japanese company has launched its high-end version dubbed as SHARP AQUOS S3 High Edition in Taiwan. SHARP AQUOS S3 High Edition comes with few improvements regarding SoC, storage, and wireless charging. Let’s check out the specs of the SHARP AQUOS S3 High Edition below.

SHARP AQUOS S3 High Edition comes with a 6-inch Full HD+ display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass Protection and a notch on top. The phone has 91% screen-to-body ratio and comes with the resolution of 2160×1080 pixels.

The High Edition of SHARP AQUOS S3 has a Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz along with Adreno 512 GPU. The device has 6GB of RAM and internal storage of 128GB which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD.

SHARP AQUOS S3 High Edition has the same camera configuration as the standard variant. At the back, the phone features a 12MP primary rear camera with f/1.75 aperture, dual-tone LED flash. Along with it, there is a 13MP secondary rear camera for capturing portrait shots and comes with 2x loss-less zoom support.

The phone houses a 16MP front camera inside the notch and supports face unlock feature which can unlock the phone in 0.1 seconds. It is a Dual SIM smartphone which sports a fingerprint sensor on the curved glass back. The device supports connectivities like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C.

AQUOS S3 High Edition smartphone runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) with Smile UX on the top. The phone comes with a 3200mAh battery which supports Qualcomm’s 3.0 quick charging and Qi wireless charging as well.

SHARP AQUOS S3 High Edition arrives in Black color and will cost NT$ 13,990 ($570). It will be available for sale starting from June 11th in Taiwan.
