The Mobile World Congress [MWC] event that happens in Barcelona every year is one of the biggest gatherings of the mobile tech industry with almost every popular Smartphone manufacturer announcing and showing off their latest and best Smartphone products of the following year.
This year’s MWC event will be happening from 27 February to 2 March 2017, and we were expecting Samsung to launch their latest Galaxy S8 flagship device in this event. However, Samsung recently came on record to officially deny any plans for an MWC launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8. Well, it does make sense for the Galaxy S8 to have its own mega launch event to get maximum publicity and reach for the device after all the fiasco related to the Galaxy Note 7 launched last year.
However, yesterday Samsung started sending out press invites for their MWC press conference, scheduled on February 26. Latest reports, as well as leaks from trusted sources, claims that the Galaxy Tab S3 will be the product that Samsung will be unveiling at this event. Moreover, several Korean media outlets have claimed that Samsung won’t leave the Galaxy S8 fans disheartened either.
It is pretty evident from previous launch patterns of Samsung Galaxy flagship devices that we may see the Galaxy S8 in its full glory being officially launched at around late March. But as per latest media reports, Samsung will be showing the audience with a minute-long teaser of the Galaxy S8 to keep the hype up and growing.
