OnePlus 3 and 3T gets OxygenOS 4.0.1 update with Bugs fixes

The OnePlus initiated pushing out a new update to its smartphones both OnePlus 3 and 3T. The latest OxygenOS 4.0.1 update is an addition to the previous OxygenOS 4.0 Nougat based upgrade. The OxygenOS 4.0.1 comes with some changes as well as including workarounds for Goole Play Store downloads issue. The changes brought in this software update are added status bar icon options, improved self-customization and even updated the APN Settings for selecting carriers. Apart from that, it also fixed the proximity sensor bug during calls and increased system stability.

OnePlus 3T

If you can’t download apps from Google Play, its because of a known issue from Google OnePlus mentioned in the changelog and advised not downloading via mobile data. And it has also suggested various solutions for overcoming it in the changelog. The possible solution is to try fixing it using Google’s troubleshooting steps and see if it’s cleared. If it still exists try turning on Battery Saving Mode and resetting the Play Store app preferences. Alternatively, the Changelog also notes to force stop or uninstall the following apps: Truecaller, AVG Antivirus, and PayTm.

The users facing mobile data issues due to APN are recommended to choose to try all options under the APN settings page manually. Furthermore, the Changelog also alleges that WiFi fluctuation will still exist. The updates will be available for small numbers of users first and later to others in one or two days.
