Nokia 2 with 5-inch Display, 4100mAh battery launched in India for Rs. 6999


HMD Global has finally launched its most affordable smartphone Nokia 2 in India. Last month, the company officially introduced this at an event in Delhi, India. Let’s check out the specs of the device.


Nokia 2 Specifications

Nokia 2 packs a 5-inch HD LTPS LCD In-Cell Touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 212 processor along with Adreno 304 GPU, 1GB RAM, and 8GB onboard storage. The storage can be expanded up to 128GB with microSD. The handset runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and will get Android 8.0 Oreo update soon.

In the photography department, it sports 8MP rear-facing camera at the back with LED Flash. While on the front, the device has got 5MP shooter for taking selfies. The smartphone is made of 6000 series aluminium frame with a polycarbonate back and comes with IP52 splashproof. Along with these, the handset supports 4G VoLTE connectivity with Dual SIM. The device has a massive 4100mAh battery which offers up to 2 days of battery life.

Nokia 2 Pricing

Nokia 2 comes with a price tag of Rs. 6,999 in India and will be available from tomorrow through offline retail stores. The device comes with Pewter Black, Pewter White and Copper Black color variants.
