A new report from Android Authority states they have received images of the alleged Moto G5S to debut this year. The leak is from a trusted source, the same one from where all the Moto leaks have been coming.
The G5S is a smaller 5.2-inch device while the G5S Plus is bigger at 5.5 inches. The images depict the G5S which will be a part of the budget-oriented G series. The device is leaked in Grey, Gold and Dark Blue colors displaying the front and back of the device.
The images show a very similar design to the newly launched G5 and G5 Plus, except that the G5S and G5S Plus are truly full metal body phones. You see, the G5 did have an aluminium back but it also had plastic edges. The G5S is all metal through and through. We also see a return of the much lamented Moto dimple at the back. Another prominent feature is the antenna lines which previously were simply plastic. There are two of them. One at the top and the over at the bottom. As usual, the power button and volume rocker are on the right side. The front is exactly the same as the G5 and G5 Plus.
Not much is known regarding the specs of the two devices. Although a leaked slide which revealed the entire product lineup for Moto in 2017 did reveal that both the G5S and G5S Plus will have Full-HD displays. Stay tuned as this story will develop further.
