We are now just a few days away from the official launch of Galaxy S9 duo. And prior to the launch event, a massive leak reveals almost everything about the devices. The leak shows off the press renders along with all the key specs.
Samsung Galaxy S9 will be the first smartphone to feature Snapdragon 845 SoC for the US market while the other markets will get Samsung’s own Exynos 9810 SoC. Coming to the display, Galaxy S9 will have the same Infinity display like last year’s Galaxy S8. Galaxy S9 will sport a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and 2960 x 1440 pixels resolution. While the Galaxy S9 Plus will have a sightly bigger 6.2-inch display.
Galaxy S9 will come with 4GB RAM along with 64GB storage while the Plus variant will have 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. This year Samsung’s main focus is on camera. Both Galaxy S9 and S9+ will sport 12MP sensor at the back.
The sensor will come with variable aperture which goes from f/1.5 to f/2.4. The Plus variant will have an secondary 12MP sensor at the back with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera will have an ability to capture super slow-mo videos up to 960 fps. Both devices will sport an 8MP snapper on the front to take care of the selfies.
S9 is expected to feature a 3000mAh battery while the S9+ will have a 3500mAh battery. The devices will also come with water and dust resistance certified by IP68. Bluetooth 5.0 and USB-C will also be there as these specs are normal for flagships these days.
We will witness the launch on 25th February at MWC 2018. We hope Samsung will have something special outside these specs. Let’s hope for the best.
