Previously in December, the Facebook-owned photo sharing app, Instagram had 600 million users. Whereas now, it has revealed that it has over 700 million monthly active users.
According to Instagram, this is the fastest growth it has registered. It has gained the last 100 million users in just four months, whereas it took six months to reach 600 million from 500 million. The Instagram gives credits to its features such as stories, stories, live video and disappearing messages in Direct for the rise in the user growth.
In case if you aren’t aware, Instagram previously disclosed that more than 200 million users are using Instagram Stories daily. However, most of you must be aware of Snapchat the rival of Instagram from where Facebook copied most of its features.
