Huawei Watch 2 and Three Power Bank Variants will launch at MWC 2017

Richard Yu, Huawei’s Vice President announced via Weibo that at MWC 2017 event in Barcelona, Huawei will be launching Huawei Watch 2 Smartwatch along with 3 versions of 10000mAh Huawei power bank with fast charging support. Huawei is also expected to launch Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus in the event.

According to rumors, Huawei Watch 2 will come in two versions and at least one of the versions will support SIM cards in order to provide mobile phone-like experience. The Huawei Smartwatch will run in the latest wearable device android operating system, Android Wear 2.0. The Huawei Smartwatch will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset along with 4GB ROM and 512MB RAM. The device will be backed by a 300mAh battery.

The wearable device will have a 42mm diameter along with a touch screen display of 1.4-inch. Further, there will be versions with colorful rubber straps and stainless steel body. The Smartwatch will come with Google Play Store support along with other features of the Android Wear 2.0. It is expected to come with a price tag of $345.

The upcoming Huawei Smartwatch is promoted with the slogan “Made for free spirits” along with a picture of a man running while wearing the device. It seems that Huawei Watch 2 will be a fitness related device with an advanced activity tracking system. It is also confirmed now that the company will be launching their upcoming flagship smartphone Huawei P10 at the event.
