Two of the most awaited Smartphones of 2017, the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL are now made official.
The Google Pixel 2 features a 5-inch Full-HD AMOLED display with huge top and bottom bezels whereas the Google Pixel 2 XL features a nearly bezel-less design with a 6-inch QHD AMOLED display.
Both phones are powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM and feature storage options of either 64 or 128GB. Both devices also have stereo speakers, Optical Image Stabilization in the rear camera and an “Active Edge” feature which resembles the “Squeeze” feature that we have seen on the HTC U11.
There is only a single rear camera setup on both the phones and is of 12.2MP and features f/1.8 aperture. The camera also brings a technology called “dual-pixel sensor for faster autofocus and also to offer features like the “Portrait Mode” with just a single camera sensor.
The Google Pixel 2 is priced at $650 and $750 for the 64GB and 128GB variants respectively and will be available from October 17. The Pixel 2 XL is priced at $850 and $950 for the 64GB and 128GB variants and will start shipping from mid-November.
Both the devices will be available in three color variants: Clearly White, Just Black, and Kinda Blue.
