Along with Xiaomi Redmi Y1, Xiaomi has launched another budget-oriented smartphone Redmi Y1 Lite which is basically the lite version of Redmi Y1. Let’s check out the specifications of this device.

Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite comes with a 5.5-inch HD display with the resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The device is powered by 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 chipset with Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The internal storage is 16GB which can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD card. Out of the box, the handset runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI 8 on the top. Later it will get MIUI 9 update.

Coming to the camera specs, Redmi Y1 Lite features a 13MP snapper at the back with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, and PDAF. While on the front, it has a 5MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. The device doesn’t have any fingerprint sensor but it includes the Infrared sensor.

The handset has dedicated Dual SIM functionality with 4G VoLTE support. As connectivity options, it has Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS / GLONASS. To keep the handset alive it has a 3080mAh battery under the hood.

Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite comes with a price tag of Rs. 6999 in India. It comes in Gold and Dark Gray colors. The device will be available from Amazon.in exclusively and Mi.com as well.
