Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 5 Pro back in February in India. in June, Xiaomi announced that they have sold more than 5 million Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro units in India. Until now Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro was available through Flash sale only. But now the company has announced that from today Redmi Note 5 Pro will available to buy through open sale in India.
Though the company says the phones are available to buy 24×7 but still they are not able to cover the demand of the 6GB variant. As a result, the 6GB RAM Black, Gold, and Rose Gold color variants are out of stock on Flipkart and Mi.com as well. A few days back the company has launched Mi A2 which is also a mid-range smartphone.
Redmi Note 5 features a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with 2.5D curved glass, and 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by Octa-Core 1.8GHz Snapdragon 636 processor with Adreno 509 GPU, 4GB RAM/6GB RAM, and 64GB onboard storage. The storage can be upgraded up to 128GB using microSD card.
The device has 12MP+5MP dual cameras with LED Flash. While on the front, Note 5 Pro has a 20MP snapper to take care of the selfies. The device sips its juice from a 4000mAh battery.
