Xiaomi Mi 9X specs sheet leaks, expected to launch in April

Recently an XDA report has revealed that Xiaomi will launch three new smartphones codenamed: “bamboo_sprout”, “cosmos_sprout”, and “pyxis”. The first two smartphones will run on Android One which makes us believe that the devices will launch as Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite. While the last one “pyxis” is going to be the lite version of the current flagship Mi 9, allegedly called as Mi 9X. All three smartphones will feature in-display fingerprint sensors.

According to the leaked report, Xiaomi Mi 9X will feature a 6.4-inch FHD AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of storage. Out of the box, the device will run on MIUI 10 based on Android P.

The device will feature three cameras at the back with 48-megapixel primary sensor, 13Mwide-angle lens, and 8MP telephoto lens. On the front, it will sport a 32MP selfie camera to take care of the selfies. Under the hood, Mi 9X will have a 3,300 mAh battery with 18W fast charging to keep it alive.

Mi 9X is expected to be priced at 1699 yuan ($250) and it will launch sometime in April.
