Last year, Xiaomi launched a Hatsune Miku Special Edition of its Redmi Note 4X smartphone in its homeland. Following the same footprints, the Chinese company has now introduced the Xiaomi Mi 6X Hatsune Miku Special Edition smartphone. This limited-edition smartphone comes in a gift box which contains the customized handset and two other items in it.
The Mi 6X Hatsune Special Edition comes in turquoise color and has an image of the Hatsune Miku on its back including a metal nameplate. Each Mi 6X Hatsune Miku Edition handset has a unique global number that is written below the rear image. Besides that, the gift box also contains a custom-designed 10,000mAh power bank, custom-made transparent and soft plastic cover.
Just like regular Xiaomi Mi 6X, the Hatsune Miku Special Edition of Mi 6X also comes with same specifications. Though the Mi 6X arrives in different memory configurations, the Hatsune Miku Special Edition comes only in 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. Xiaomi Mi 6X Hatsune Special Edition smartphone has a 5.99-inch Full HD+ IPS 18:9 display having a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The handset comes with an Octa-Core Snapdragon 660 SoC and is paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The phone sports a vertical dual rear camera setup which contains a primary 12MP Sony IMX476 sensor and a secondary 20MP Sony IMX376 sensor. Besides that, the handset on the front has a 20MP selfie camera with face unlock support as well.
Despite having face unlock option in the device, it also comes with a fingerprint sensor mounted on the back of the device. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo along with MIUI 9.5 on its top. The phone has 3,010mAh battery under the hood which supports fast charging through USB-C.
Xiaomi Mi 6X Hatsune Special Edition Pricing and Availability
The Mi 6X Hatsune Special Edition will cost 2,099 Yuan ($317) and is now available for pre-booking in China. Xiaomi announced that only 5,000 units of the smartphone would be available for sale. The phone will be on sale from July 3 at 10 AM exclusively through Xiaomi Mall.
