As expected, Xiaomi has officially announced their latest mid-range smartphone Mi 6X at an event in China. Let’s check out the specs of this device.

Xiaomi Mi 6X features a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with the resolution of 2160×1080 pixels, 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass display on the top. The device is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 processor with Adreno 512 GPU. In terms of storage and RAM, Mi 6X comes in three variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB/128GB storage. Out of the box, the phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 9 on the top.

Coming to the camera department, Mi 6X sports 12MP+20MP dual cameras at the back. The 12MP lens comes with Sony IMX486 sensor, LED flash, and f/1.75 aperture. While the secondary snapper comes with Sony IMX376 sensor and it helps to blur backgrounds in portrait mode by collecting the depth information. The device also features Camera AI and it helps to detect 206 different scenes and act according to that. On the front, it has a 20MP camera with Sony IMX376 sensor,  soft LED flash, and f/1.75 aperture to take care of the selfies.

Mi 6X comes with Hybrid Dual SIM slots. The device has a unibody design and it sports a fingerprint sensor at the back and also USB Type-C. Mi 6X sips its juice from a 3000mAh battery Quick Charge 3.0 support for fast charging. The 18W fast charger can charge the device up to 50% in just 30 minutes.

Mi 6X comes with a price tag of 1599 yuan ($253) for the 4GB RAM variant. While the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant costs 1799 yuan ($285) and 128GB storage variant is priced at 1999 yuan ($316). The device will be up for sale in China from April 27th.
