The device is powered by 1.4 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor along with 1.5GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. The internal storage is 8GB which can be expanded up to 256GB using microSD card. Out of the box, the device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Galaxy J2 Ace sports an 8-megapixel camera on the rear with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture. The primary camera can record up to 720p videos.
