OPPO has announced their latest “A series” smartphone A83 in China. Let’s check out the specifications of this device.

OPPO A83 sports a 5.7-inch HD+ full-screen display with 2.5D curved glass on the top, 1440 × 720 pixels of resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by 2.5GHz Octa-Core processor with 4GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage. The storage can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD card. Out of the box, the phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with ColorOS 3.2 on the top.
OPPO A83 features a 13MP camera at the back with LED flash while on the front it has an 8MP shooter. A83 sports Face Unlock feature and using it the phone can be unlocked within 0.18 seconds. The front camera comes with A.I beauty technology and scans 128 feature points on your face to unlock the phone.
The phone measures 150.5 × 73.1 × 7.7mm and weighs 143g. It is a Dual SIM compatible phone and comes with 4G VoLTE. Under the hood, OPPO A83 has a 3180mAh battery to keep the device alive.

OPPO A83 comes with a price tag of 1399 yuan ($212). It comes in Champagne Gold and Black colours. The device will go on sale from December 29th.
