Huawei Mate 9 to feature 6GB RAM, Iris Scanner, 256GB ROM, coming in four variants


Along with LeEco Le Pro 3, Xiaomi Mi 5s and Google Pixel smartphones, another most anticipated smartphone is coming soon from Huawei which is Mate 9. Huawei Honor 8 and P9 were a huge hit and looking at the success of those smartphones we can expect something more innovative from Huawei.


According to latest leaks, Huawei Mate 9 might feature Iris Scanner just like Galaxy Note 7. The event date is rumored to be the 8th November. The device might come with four variants. The standard version will have 64GB ROM and 4GB RAM. Another 4GB variant will have 128GB ROM. There will be a premium variant too with 6GB RAM and 256GB ROM.

From the previous leak, we know the device feature 20MP Dual Camera and Kirin 960 chipset. The iris scanner will be optional with Fingerprint sensor. The user can choose between them.


According to the latest reports, the standard version will come in Gold, Silver, Grey colors and the high-end variant will come in Rose Gold and Ceramic White. The premium models will come in Black Enamel color will all colors listed above.

Coming to the pricing, the base variant will be priced at 3199 Yuan ($481) and with full network support it will cost around 3399 Yuan ($510). The high-end variant will have 3899 Yuan ($585) and with full network support, it will cost around 4699 Yuan ($705). The premium variant will be priced at 7388 Yuan ($1110).
