We all know MIUI is a very popular Android ROM and it gets new refreshing looks every year. The last update was MIUI 8 and this year the company is looking forward to launch MIUI 9. Although we have seen some previous leaks confirming the ROM as well as some of its features. A new information suggests that Developers are ready with their primary build of the ROM and they have formed a group to start Beta testing. Since this will be a Closed Beta so the ROM will be available to some selected numbers of users.
The Closed Beta is expected to end by this month so Xiaomi might launch the ROM in August. MIUI Forum members have started some new topics on MIUI 9 and with time we will get more information on this.
According to the CEO of Xiaomi Lei Jun, MIUI 9 will be very stable, smoother than the previous ROM. The company is also trying to include some exciting features like picture-in-picture mode and split-screen. The ROM will be based on Android 7.0 and rumors suggest that Xiaomi Mi 6, Mi Note 2, Mi Max 2, Mi Pad 3, Mi Max, MI MIX, Mi 5, Mi 5s, Mi 5C, Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4, Redmi 4X, Redmi Note 4X, Redmi Note 3, Redmi 3s will receive MIUI 9.
