Lenovo Unveils Smart Assistant – A Clone to Amazon Echo

Taking a cue from the front-runners Amazon and Google and their successful stints in the arena of voice-activated devices, Lenovo decided to test its fortunes in the same line of the business. Now, it has launched its own Smart Assistant in collaboration with Amazon Alexa. Since the Lenovo device has been built in the partnership with Amazon, it’s not surprising that it matches starkly with Amazon Echo. The availability of the device in multiple colors is indeed a thing to be glad about.

Having a cylindrical shape, the Alexa-voiced Smart Assistant has a silvery top and a bright base. The upper part has been designed to give the right feels of levitation, what we normally refer to as ‘hover in the air’ action.

Lenovo has integrated some of the best top-of-the-line features into its Smart Assistant, including 8 360-degree microphones with abilities like Echo Cancellation and Noise Suppression. A version of Harman Kardon audio is also available for use. One of the most impressive specifications is its proficiency in picking up the commands from up to 16 feet i.e. 5 meters.

Lenovo’s Alexa-based Smart Assistant will be available on shelves starting from May. It is priced at $129.99. The Harman Edition can be purchased for $179.99.
