As expected, Huawei has officially introduced its latest smartphone Nova 2s at an event in China. It is the successor of Nova 2 which was announced in May this year. Let’s check out the specs of the device.

Huawei Nova 2s comes with a 6-inch Full HD+ 18:9 LCD IPS 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels and narrow bezels on both sides. The device is powered by Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 960 processor along with i6 co-processor and Mali G71 Octa-core GPU. In terms of storage and RAM, the smartphone comes in three variants; 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB or 128GB storage. The memory can be expanded up to 256GB with microSD. The handset runs on latest Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on the top.

Nova 2s comes with four cameras. On the front, there’s a 20MP+2MP dual camera setup which comes with an LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. While at the back, there’s a 16MP (RGB) + 20MP (Monochrome) dual camera setup which comes with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, and PDAF. The back of the device is made of shiny glass. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the front home button. The handset supports Hybrid Dual SIM. It sips the juice from a 3340mAh battery which supports fast charging.

Huawei Nova 2s comes with a price tag of 2699 yuan ($408 / Rs. 26,350 approx.) for the 4GB + 64GB variant, 2999 yuan ($454 / Rs. 29,265 approx.) for the 6GB + 64GB variant and 3399 yuan ($514 / Rs. 33,165 approx.) for 6GB + 128GB variant. The device comes in Black, Grey, Red, Rose Gold and Blue color variants.
