Xiaomi is one of the top smartphone contenders now both in China and India. The company is expanding rapidly. At Fourth World Internet Conference which is happening in Wuzhen, the CEO of Xiaomi Lei Jun has told about the upcoming AI capabilities from Xiaomi. Through his presentation titled as “Opportunities for Xiaomi in the AI era” he said that Xiaomi’s 2018 flagship smartphones will come with AI technology.
The CEO said that next 10 years Xiaomi’s core focus will be AI capabilities. He also added that all the Internet companies of today will eventually become AI companies.
Xioami launched their first AI enabled speaker back in July this year. And then in Mi Note 3, they used the Adaptable AI Beauty in Camera. But in 2018 the flagship smartphones there will be AI driven apps from Xiaomi.
The first flagship smartphone will be Mi 7 so we can expect Xiaomi to integrate AI in this device. The device is also expected to feature Snapdragon 845 SoC.
