Sharp has introduced its latest smartphone AQUOS R compact in Japan. Let’s check out the specifications of this device.

AQUOS R compact sports a 4.9-inch Full HD+ IGZO LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2032 pixels. The company offers FFD (Free Form Display) technology on the display for selfie camera and receiver and also helps to reduce the bezel size. It also comes with IP6X Dust and water-resistant body.

Internally, AQUOS R compact is powered with the Octa-Core Snapdragon 660 14nm processor along with Adreno 512 GPU, 3GB LPDDR4x of RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD. Out of the box, the smartphone runs on latest Android 8.0 Oreo.

On the camera aspect, the device packs a 16.4MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF. For selfies, it has got an 8MP sensor on the front. The company offers 4G VoLTE connectivity with Hybrid Dual SIM. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the front home button. To keep the lights on, the handset has a 2500mAh battery.

Sharp AQUOS R compact will be available in Japan from December through Softbank but the price tag is not revealed yet. The device comes in White, Black, Yellow and Purple colour variants.
