Samsung Galaxy S8 to feature Iris Scanner, Dual Camera to help the parts suppliers

Last week, we reported that Samsung is working hard for its 2017 release of Galaxy S8 and their firmware Development is in process now. As per reports from Korea, Samsung is planning to equip its 2017 release with an iris scanner and a Dual camera in order to increase the revenue. If the specification of Dual Camera and iris scanner comes true it will surely raise revenue of not only Samsung Electro-Mechanics but also Sekonix and Kolen, which manufactures Smartphone camera lenses and iris scanners respectively. Iris scanner of Note 7 was manufactured by Patron and MCNEX and it seems that they will manufacture it for Samsung Galaxy S8 as well.

However, this report is not officially confirmed by Samsung. The report surfaces from the end of a part supplier. The part supplier further mentioned that Samsung brings new camera designs every year and in 2017, the system will be followed by none other than Galaxy S8.
A point of worth mention is that in the Note 7 launch event, Samsung’s mobile business president said that by the time Galaxy S8 will get unveiled, the company will have an improved iris scanner technology.
