Samsung will be introducing a Galaxy J3 (2017) variant, Galaxy J3 Emerge, soon. As per @evleaks, the device will head to Sprint, Virgin Mobile, and Boost Mobile from 6th January onwards. The handset comes with model number SM-J327P.

Galaxy J3 Emerge will come with a 5-inch HD IPS display. The device will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset and a 64-bit processor with Adreno 505 GPU. The phone will run in 2GB RAM. The initial memory of 16GB can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. Being backed by a 2600mAh battery, the handset will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The handset will carry a 5MP camera with LED flash support in the Rear and a 2MP camera in the front.
