The most exciting are that Nokia will unveil their Android-powered smartphones at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. HMD Global now holds the license to use Nokia branding for the next 10 years.

Although we were getting the news of Nokia Android phones since 6 months and D1C was spotted in several benchmarking sites. Although some benchmark listings insist that it will be a Tablet while other listings are saying it will be a smartphone.

Depending on the information we have, Nokia D1C will sport a Full HD display. It will be powered by Octa-Core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 chipset with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. It will have a 16MP rear Camera and an 8MP front-facing Camera. D1C will come out with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

We hope there will be both midrange and high-end smartphones as we heard that two high-end smartphones by Nokia are cooking. We have to wait until the MWC 2017 event arrives until then take these rumors with a pinch of salt.
