New Sketches of the LG V30 emerge, reconfirm the LG G6 look

The LG V30 is one of the arch-rivals of the Galaxy Note8. And the countdown for both has begun. The LG V30 has been a subdued figure on the rumor-circuit. Last week we saw some CAD renders of the LG V30 that debunked a wild rumor. The CAD render gave us a reassuring look at the design. And sure enough, it was looking like an expanded LG G6. Earlier wild rumors conjured up an LG V30 that would have a slide-out secondary display that would come out from the bottom.

Now, new sketches have emerged courtesy of Onleaks. These images have been taken from an alleged training manual of the LG V30. Now the sketches only reiterate what we saw last week and there isn’t much new to speak about. But to recap, LG is sure to give the second display a miss this year. Or let’s just say they passed it on to the Meizu Pro 7. The third phone of the V-series will also have a bigger footprint than its predecessor. Also, we might see thinner top and bottom lips as compared to the G6. Further, the placement of the LED flash has changed.

Elsewhere, word on the net is that LG is prepping to endow the upcoming flagship with an industry leading imaging sensor. The sensor would hold a f/1.6 aperture. The smallest for any phone around. That would surely result in better image quality for the LG V30. And one more feather in the hat of LG. The LG V30 is expected to emerge from the shadows on August 31 at IFA 2017.
