Today, a rendered image based on real factory drawings of Motorola Moto X (2017) got leaked online, thanks to the efforts of @OnLeaks and Android Authority.

As far as the design is concerned, it is very close to that of Motorola Moto Z. The few alterations include removal pogo pins from the back and no 2.5D glass. This means the handset won’t be compatible with Moto Mods. It seems that Moto X won’t be a flagship device because of just a few days ago, Motorola announced that they are going to manufacture more Mods for upcoming devices.

As against Moto Z’s USB Type-C port, Moto X (2017) will be going back to the MicroUSB standard, and will also feature a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device will be 9.5 mm thick with dimensions of 150 x 73.8 x 8.4 mm. It will have a 5.2-inch display.

Overall, it seems that Motorola Moto X (2017) will be a mid-range affordable device. The handset is expected to be unveiled at MWC or at CES event. By the way, another source is claiming that the device is Moto C. So we are still not sure about the device name yet. Hope we will get more leaks on this.
