Today, the Chinese manufacturer, Meizu, has officially unveiled its plans regarding its 30th November event. Invitations to the event made it clear that a new handset will be released in the event which will be powered by MediaTek Helio chipset.
No sooner had Meizu officially declared its plans, a few back to back Weibo posts conveyed that the device might be Meizu X. As per industry sources, Meizu X will be a high-end device, and it will be better than the recently released Meizu MX6 in terms of features. However, we know nothing much about Meizu X other than that an Helio chipset might power it.
MediaTek Helio X30 chipset is perhaps too early for this device, so we may see this device to be powered by a MediaTek Helio X20 or X25 chipset.
According to rumors, Meizu will unveil one more device along with Meizu X. Moreover, the device might not necessarily be a Smartphone. However, leaks hint that the device will be none other than Meizu M5 Note. Being powered by a Mediatek’s Helio P10 chipset alongside 3GB RAM, the device will sport a Full HD display. The device will carry a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The phone will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS offering 32GB of native storage.
