Lenovo has announced the Z5, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the ‘Z series’ in China. Previously, rumors claimed the phone would arrive with very narrow bezels and without a notch.
However, the Lenovo Z5 does have some bezels on both top and bottom chin as well as well as a notch on the top. Anyway, let’s check out the specs of this device.
Lenovo Z5 Specifications:
The Lenovo Z5 smartphone arrives with a 6.2-inch Full HD+ (2240 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with a notch and has 2.5D curved glass on its top. The display comes with 19:9 aspect ratio, 90% screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Lenovo Z5 is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor along with Adreno 509 GPU. The phone comes with two storage options; 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. The device has expandable memory up to 256GB via MicroSD.
Coming to the camera section, Lenovo Z5 features a 16MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, and PDAF.It also has an 8MP secondary rear camera to capture depth information for portrait shots. While on the front, the phone has an 8MP selfie camera with AI beautification. The front-camera supports face unlock as well.
It is a hybrid Dual SIM smartphone which sports connectivities like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C. Lenovo Z5 has a 3300mAh battery which supports fast charging as well.
The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with ZUI 3.9 on its top. The device is upgradable to ZUI 4.0 and Android P. The phone comes with anti-fingerprint coating and 6 Series aluminum metal frame and has a fingerprint sensor on the back.
Lenovo Z5 Pricing and Availability:
The Lenovo Z5 arrives in three colors: Aurora Blue, Black, and Indigo Blue colors. The phone with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage cost 1399 yuan ($218) and the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage version costs 1799 yuan ($280). The Lenovo Z5 is now available for pre-order in China and will be on sale from June 12th.
