HTC has finally launched its new U series smartphone “U Play” along with flagship smartphone “HTC U Ultra” in India. This device was announced last month. Let’s take a look at the specs of this device.

HTC U Play sports a 5.2-inch Full HD Super LCD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It comes with an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor along with 4GB RAM. The internal memory is 64GB which can be expanded up to 2TB with a microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
A 16MP camera is placed at the back with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, OIS. On the front, a 16MP camera placed with f/2.0 aperture, UltraPixel mode. U Play supports HTC USonic, Dual microphones and a Fingerprint sensor placed at the front. It has got a 2500mAh battery with fast charging support under the hood.
HTC U Play comes with a price tag of Rs. 39,990 in India with an offer of 7.5% cashback with Standard Charted Debit or credit card. This offer is valid from March 6th to May 31st, 2017. The device comes in Iceberg White, Indigo Blue, Black Oil and Cosmic Pink Gold color variants.
