Honor V10 with 16MP+20MP Dual Camera, 6GB RAM, Android 8.0 announced

As promised, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has finally introduced its latest flagship smartphone V10 at an event in China. Let’s check out the specs of the device.

Honor V10 sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ FullView display with the resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio with narrow bezels. It is powered by Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 970 10nm processor + i7 co-processor along with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. In terms of RAM and storage, the smartphone comes in three variants; 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB or 128GB internal storage. The memory is upgradable up to 256GB via microSD. Out of the box, the handset runs on latest Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on the top.

At the back, it has 16MP+20MP (RGB+Monochrome) dual cameras with LED flash, PDAF. The back camera can record videos up to 4K. The device comes with AI engine which helps to choose perfect camera settings automatically in the different environments. On the front, there is a 13MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture and portrait mode.

The smartphone has a full metal body and the fingerprint sensor is mounted on the front beneath the Home button. Apart from these, the smartphone can also be unlocked by face recognition technology. The device supports Hybrid Dual SIM along with 4G VoLTE and USB Type-C connectivity. The device sips its juice from a 3750mAh battery which supports fast charging. The battery can be charged up to 50% within 30 minutes.

Honor V10 comes with a price tag of 2699 yuan ($409 / Rs. 26,350) for 4GB+64GB variant, 2999 yuan ($455 / Rs. 29,280) for 6GB+64GB variant and 3499 yuan ($530 / Rs. 34,165) for 6GB+128GB variant. The device will be available from 5th December in China. Although the pre-order has already started. The handset comes in Black, Aurora Blue, Gold and Red color variants.
