As promised, Gionee has announced M6S Plus smartphone in China, the successor of last year’s M6 Plus. Let’s check out the specs.

Gionee M6S Plus comes with 6-inch Full HD AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 1920× 1080 pixels. The device is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 653 processor along with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. In terms of storage, the device comes in two variants 64GB and 256GB. The memory can be expanded up to 256GB using microSD card. Out of the box, the device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo OS 3.5 on the top.
M6S Plus sports a 12-megapixel shooter with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.9 aperture at the back while on the front it has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture. The device has a circular fingerprint sensor placed at the back underneath the camera panel. M6S Plus comes with a mammoth 6020mAh battery with fast charging support. The device also comes with an encrypted chip to secure the user’s personal data. It is only available in Chinese version only.
Gionee M6S Plus is priced at 3499 yuan ($508) and comes in Ink Black color for the 64GB variant. The 256GB variant costs about 4299 yuan ($625). The devices are now available to pre-order in China and it will go on sale next month.
