Facebook is now testing Reactions in Messenger App

Last year, Facebook implemented a new feature ‘Reactions’. Through this feature, the users can react to the posts by selecting any one of the emoticon options below a post. According to a source, the social giant is now trying to add that feature in its Messenger app, too.

The sources also say the users can tap a tiny button near the messages which they receive. And later, you can choose any one of the seven allocated emoji as your reaction to that particular message. However this feature somewhat identically looks like the Tapback in iOS which Apple introduced in iOS 10 Messages app.

This information comes out through TechCrunch who spoke to Facebook and confirmed the news isn’t fake. The company is testing the feature with a handful of users first and later will eventually roll out to all the users.
