Huawei P10 and P10 Plus Press Render Reveals Expensive Prices

The MWC event in Barcelona is going to be very hot with the press conference from Samsung showcasing a teaser for the Galaxy S8, the event from LG with a possible G6 launch and also expected HTC 11 launch. It seems like Huawei, one of the Smartphone brands that have been very aggressive in recent time with their product launches and sales, will be joining the race as well.

Huawei is all set to launch their all new P10 and P10 Plus Android Smartphones at their MWC 2017 event on 26 Feb. We have been seeing quite some leaks about the Huawei P10 and its bigger brother, the Huawei P10 Plus lately and some of the leaks suggested that both these devices will be the most expensive devices in their lineup.

Talking about the hardware specifications, both the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will be powered by the Kirin 965 chipset and will have 4GB as well 6GB RAM variants as well. The P10 will feature a 5.2-inch Quad HD display with flat edges, whereas the Huawei P10 Plus is expected to feature a curved 5.5-inch display with the same resolution as the P10. Both devices will feature 12MP primary camera sensors from Leica as well as 8MP secondary camera sensors.

Talking about the pricing of the Huawei P10, the 4GB RAM variant with 32GB internal storage space will cost around 3,488 Yuan ($507) and the 64GB storage variant with 4GB RAM will cost 4,088 Yuan ($595). The more premium Huawei P10 with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will be priced at 4,688 Yuan ($683).

The bigger Huawei P10 Plus will have a price tag of 4,998 Yuan ($725) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant, 5,688 Yuan ($828) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant.

The pricing mentioned above are as compared to the expected price tags of the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus devices in Mainland China as understood from the leaked image.

  1. OK… I’ve got a P9… This is what I want from the P10:

    I want their launcher to switch to landscape… especially on their tablets. But it’s stubbornly stuck on portrait mode. Grrr! So when I cast the screen to a big screen TV, it looks stupid.

    Also – there should be TWO microSD slots. One for ‘adoptive’ memory and one for ‘removable’ memory.

    USB ‘C’ port NOT Micro USB port.

    Wireless charging.

    Front AND rear fingerprint operation.

    3600 battery. (I’m happy with the extra few grams weight.)
