Microsoft has reported that you may not require having a Microsoft or Skype account to use Skype. From now onwards, you’ll be able to use Skype without signing in into it. However, it only works if you are on Skype.com and using Skype for the web. After visiting the website, you’ll be able to start the conversation by tapping on “start conversation” and add your name. Later without any delay, you’ll get a unique generated link, which you must share with other people to initiate the conversation. As soon as, they click on the link, you’ll be able to perform Skype chat with them.
