After a successful 2016, the Chinese firm, Xiaomi is back with something new for its highly profitable market, India. The Chinese company has organized its first launch event for this year in India on January 19. It has already started teasing its first launch event through social media and even sent invites for media as well. The teaser doesn’t reveal anything about what product they’re up to unleash on the event. It only shows the launch date and the place where the event occurs, i.e., New Delhi, India.

According to various rumors, Xiaomi will more likely be unveiling Redmi Note 4 smartphone at the event. This handset was previously available in China back in 2016. This smartphone features a full metal body and has a full HD display with 2.5D arc design, a 13MP rear camera, and 5MP front camera. The device arrived in the China with two storage options – 2GB RAM+16GB ROM and 3GB RAM+64GB ROM. Besides that, the Redmi Note 4  also has a fingerprint scanner on its back, and it also contains 4,100mah battery like its predecessor. It’s very doubtful of Redmi Note 4 being launch in India since it launched with MediaTek processor in China. The Chinese firm isn’t allowed to sell its devices sported with MediaTek processor in India because of a patent dispute with Ericsson.

However, the rumors claim that Xiaomi may launch the handset by altering it with Qualcomm processor for Indian models. The pricing and availability of the device expected to revealed at the event.
