The 2017 Android flagship of Xiaomi, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is still some time away from its official launch. We have been hearing a lot about the Mi 6, and something else that we have been hearing about is a bigger variant of the Mi 6, the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus was mentioned in a previous leak for the first time, and now we have a full specs list of the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus leaked online. From the list, what sets the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus apart from the Mi 6 is its dual camera setup in the rear.
The list also shares the display size of the Mi 6 Plus at 5.7-inch, compared to the 5.15-inch of the Mi 6. However, the screen resolution remains the same on both the devices at 1080p Full-HD. The device will be featuring 6GB RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of inbuilt storage space.
Apart from the 12MP dual-camera setup in the rear which features the Sony IMX 362 sensors, the device will also feature the Snapdragon 835 processor, 8MP selfie shooter, and a non-removable 4500mAh battery.
Comparing this to the Mi 6, which is so far only known to feature a 19MP single lens rear camera and 3200mAh battery. Even though the Mi 6 will also be powered by the Snapdragon 835, the device will be available in two RAM variants: 4GB or 6GB.
Finally, the Mi 6 Plus will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat whereas the Mi 6 will be stuck on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. However, both these devices will feature the MIUI 8 UI.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 launch is expected on either April 11 or April 16. But whether the Mi 6 Plus will also be unveiled at this event is still unknown.
