Xiaomi India Grosses $1 Billion Revenue in 2016

Xiaomi entered the Indian market by unveiling Mi 3 in Flipkart in 2014. Though it was a Chinese product, it gained more attention and good response. Later, the Chinese company engaged in unleashing more devices in India. Right now, the Xiaomi has grossed more than US$1 Billion in India in 2016. The manager of Xiaomi India, Manu Kumar Jain revealed this via tweet.

The head of Xiaomi India, Manu Jain also said that,

“We are truly excited to announce that Xiaomi has achieved this historic feat of recording over US$1 billion in revenue achieved within two years of us launching our operation in India. 2016 was an incredible year for us, and we were able to attain several milestones.”

It’s worth reminding that Xiaomi in India has already created milestone by selling one million smartphones in just 18 days. The Chinese firm has also gained 2 million sales in Q3 2016 in India which is 150+% YoY growth. It seems that Xiaomi is well aware of the likes and dislikes of Indian consumers.
