Vivo is now the official sponsor of FIFA World Cup 2018 and World Cup 2022

As part of its campaign to become a leading global smartphone brand, Vivo has hit a milestone. Vivo is now the official sponsor of FIFA for two cycles. Vivo has signed a six-year partnership deal with the international football organization starting 2016 and ending in 2022.

Vivo’s brand name will appear in big global tournaments like the Confederations Cup 2017 in Russia and also the World Cup next year. The World Cup in Qatar in 2022 will also be sponsored by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. That is a huge boost for the Vivo brand image.

AS part of the deal, the Vivo logo will appear on advertising boards, tickets and major venues and stadiums where the game will be played. Also, FIFA staff will be officially using Vivo smartphones. Vivo has also promised to launch a special FIFA World Cup phone that will give football fans a ‘one of a kind experience’.

As a global sponsor of the World Cup, Vivo hopes to strongly associate itself with the football spirit and show consumers all over the world Vivo’s creative, joyful, and international brand image.”

Vivo has also sponsored the Indian Premier League 2017 recently and signed a partnership with NBA China in a bid to bolster brand image in Asia.
