The Late Show’s spot-on satire includes $300 Apple photo book

The Late Show turned an Apple Photo Book release into a satirized clip. The video includes imitated British accent voice of Apple design chief, Jony Ive.

The book described in depth about the newly released photo book by Apple, “Designed by Apple in California”. At first, the video opens with an Ive-esque voice reciting previous Apple products having “book” in its name.

“There was the iBook, the Mac Book, and now the most advanced book we’ve ever made. The Apple Book. Using the most innovative technology from 1440, we were able to take an experience that was instantly familiar and charge $300 for it.”

The best line comes from a female engineer who is believed to have worked on the project.

“Its touchpage technology allows you to simply swipe your finger on a page to turn it.” And we are told that in order to make the Apple Book intuitive, its pages are sequential. What innovation!”
