The tech giant Samsung has started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for both Galaxy S7 and S7 edge devices. The South Korean firm begun Nougat beta testing of these since November last year. The update was slated to arrive on January 17, but those who joined beta program have already started receiving OTA update notification.

However, those who are in the regular build will be receiving the update within next few days. The latest firmware update for S7 and S7 Edge brings a new notification system, improved multi-window mode, and improved UX and performance fixes. If you own any one of these, go ahead and upgrade it when it arrives on your device in upcoming days.
