Samsung Galaxy S8 model numbers revealed, also Galaxy Note series is in the works

Last year, Samsung Galaxy S flagships, Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge carried model numbers SM-G920 and G925. Similarly, this year, Galaxy S flagships, Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge carried model number SM-G930 and SM-G935 respectively. Therefore, it is meaningful to estimate that the next year, Galaxy S8 handsets will bear model number SM-G940 and SM-G945 respectively.

As per a September rumor, Samsung’s next Galaxy S series models will bear model number SM-G950 and SM-G955 respectively.

Samsung Galaxy S8 models are indeed skipping SM-G94* model numbers, will ship as SM-G950 & SM-G955. Know what else is in the works? SM-N950.

Recently in Twitter, this was also confirmed by Evan Blass (@evleaks). Evan further mentioned that a device with model number SM-N950 is also in the progress. It is pretty clear that it will be a Galaxy Note series handset.
