Oppo R7s phablet unveiled with 5.5-inch Display and 4GB of RAM

Oppo has unveiled it’s new phablet Oppo R7s in Dubai at the GITEX 2015 event. The device will be launching in 10 different regions including Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia and in some countries in Middle East and North Africa region. The U.S. and European people will be able to get this device from December.

The Oppo R7s has a 5.5-inch Ultra narrow 2.2mm bezel 1080p AMOLED display which is made of 2.5D glass along with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phablet is powered by Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor along with 4 GB RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. The internal storage is 32GB which is expandable upto 128GB using MicroSD. The device is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop with ColorOS 2.1 on the top of it.

The 13MP rear camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus can focus within 0.1 second. The front-facing camera is 8MP to take selfies and video calling purpose. Moreover the camera app of this device is now 30% faster than it’s predecessors.

It has a whooping 3070mAh battery under the hood and according to Oppo it will give upto 13 hours and 15 minutes talktime in continuous usage. It also comes with VOOC Flash Charge technology by which this phablet can be charged upto 90% witihin 50 minutes and 5 minutes of charging will give you 2 hours of backup.

There is no news on pricing yet. We hope it will be released soon for the respective markets.
