There are lots of confusion about the upcoming OnePlus 2 ‘s specification, basically the RAM either it will 3 GB or 4 GB. Now the confusion is over because the today OnePlus has officially announced that Oneplus 2 will come with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM.
Yesterday the company has also confirmed the price of the device which will not be more than $450 and this device comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC and OxygenOS. With the latest fingerprint sensor OnePlus 2 support a patented USB Type C port. The CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau said that,
“With LPDDR4, you’ll see faster loading times, smoother gameplay, and never-before-seen energy-saving features. Another notable benefit is lower energy power consumption for better battery efficiency. The RAM of the OnePlus 2 uses a lower operating voltage than its predecessor, decreasing from 1.2V to 1.1V. And with speeds up to 32 GB/s, it is also twice as fast as the LPDDR3. It offers optimal support for power-saving low-frequency mode that brings clock speeds down when performing those everyday and necessary tasks.
All in all, LPDDR4 on the OnePlus 2 allows an even better user experience when using features such as slow-motion video, face recognition, and low-latency gaming – features that typically use a lot of bandwidth and can cause heavy lagging. Not only will the experience on the OnePlus 2 be smoother and sleeker, but your battery life will benefit as well.”
According to the Oneplus, this RAM is one of the latest and best RAM in the recent technology market. The Company has also said that they will launch an event call special VR launch event on July 27 and they will discuss the full specification list of OnePlus 2.
