OnePlus 2 the Flagship killer announced with 5.5 inch Display, 13 MP Camera, 4 GB RAM


The flagship killer and most hyped smartphone of this year OnePlus 2 has been officially annouced today in it’s Cardboard launch. Lets check the specifications of this smartphone.

OnePlus 2 has 5.5 inches LTPS LCD Full HD display with 401 ppi pixel density. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810, 1.8 GHz octa-core processor with Adreno 430. It has LPDDR4 3 GB/ 4 GB RAM variants respectively for 16GB and 64GB ROM models. This smartphone has no card slot feature so you will not be able to extend the storage.

The rear camera is 13 MP with laser focus and f/2.0 aperture to take sharp pictures. It is able to shoot upto 4k videos with the primary camera. The front-facing camera is 5 MP to take selfies and video calling. It is able to shoot 1080p videos. The rear mounted laser technology of Oneplus 2 sharpens and focuses the camera in just .33 milliseconds and the wide-angle 5 megapixel front-facing camera ensures every angle is covered.

OnePlus 2

The OnePlus 2 is running on Android OS 5.1 Lollipop with Oxygen OS on the top of it. It is equipped with a fingerprint scanner, adding premium security and convenience. Another thing it is also Equipped with a USB Type-C charging port. The Oneplus 2 is loaded with some awesome looking wallpapers too.

Coming to the operating system point the OnePlus Co-founder, Carl Pei said,

The OnePlus 2 is the first device in the world to ship with OnePlus’ own operating system, OxygenOS. “With the OnePlus 2, we’re making a bet on the future, and doubling down on a holistic product experience,”

The 64GB OnePlus 2 is priced for Rs. 24,999 ($389) in India which will be exclusively available in from August 11 though invitations. The 16GB variant is priced Rs. 22,999 ($329) which will be available later this year.
