Google is known to publish monthly Android distribution stats. For some reasons or not, Google skipped publishing the October stats. Either way, the company, has recently released the November stats.

Android 7.0 Nougat features on the list for the first time making its debut with 0.3% market share. However, this market share rate puts it ahead of Android 2.2 (Froyo) only. Android 2.2 was released back in May 2010, and now it has a market share of .1% only.

The two Android Lollipop versions are leading the market with a combined total of 34.1% market share. However, this number is down than the September stats, where it Android Lollipop commanded over 35% market share.

Similarly, Android Kitkat fell from 25.2% to 24% market share. Collectively, the Android Jelly Bean versions went down to 13.7% from September’s 15.6%. Android Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich have lost 0.1% and 0.2% market shares respectively.Only Android MArshallow’s market shares increased from 18.7% in September to 24% within 2 months.

Only Android Marshmallow’s market shares increased from 18.7% in September to 24% within 2 months.

We hope that within the next month a few more handsets will update their Android version to Android Nougat and we will be able to see Android Nougat with a bigger market share.
