Looks like, Xiaomi is showing a lot of initiative and has decided to give its counterparts a head-on fight in every industry domain one can think of. The Chinese multinational has added another feather in its cap by rolling out a software – MIUI 8.2 – which will be available only to selected Xiaomi devices initially. However, it will soon be introduced for a lot more devices in the days to come, as promised by Xiaomi.
In the first lap, MIUI 8.2 system update is available for devices that include Mi Max, Mi Max Prime, Mi 4, Mi 3, Mi 4i, Mi Note, Redmi 1S and Redmi Note 4G. Apart from the update, Manual Flashing will also be an available option on all these devices.
The new system software will soon get accessible on many Xiaomi smartphones, starting from February 20, which include Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm, Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note Prime, Redmi Note 3 Special Edition, Mi 2/2S, Redmi 3/Prime, Redmi 3S/Prime, Redmi Note 4, Mi 5, Mi 5 and Mi 5s Plus.
To talk about its feature bank, Xiaomi MIUI 8.2 update brings the benefits of improved notification layout, lockscreen and notification visual leaks, and enhanced sound system.
Besides this, with the support of Xiaomi’s latest software update, the built-in automated tasks feature will be in full control of the users. Plus, an antivirus scan will be immediately launched when any new app will be installed from the Play Store.
